One of the vacactions I enjoyed the most was when I traveled to Coñaripe and its surrounding small towns in 2019. This place is in the Los Rios Region and is very known for its hot springs and nearby lakes.
That time I traveled with a friend from school and It was our first trip together! It was definitely an important step for our great friendship. I remember that I was excited in addition to the new adventure because not long ago I had bought an analog camera. The combination of green beautiful places and rivers nearby, and a new camera was great. I definitely enjoyed it a lot.
We stayed near Coñaripe for almost a month, and generally our days consisted of going to the surrounding lakes since in this place is the circuit of the Seven Lakes. My favourite is Lake Pellaifa, as it has beautiful mountains around it, and the most awesome thing is that there are also logs in the middle of the water! This phenomenon of nature happened after the Valdivia earthquake in 1960. After this, large amounts of rocks collapsed from the hills and fell into the lake, so the water leveled up and that entire area was buried. When I learned about this tiny piece of history I was so impressed!
Anyway, Coñaripe is a cool place! I keep this trip in my heart :)
